The Attitude of Academic Staff towards their Duties and Professional Roles and Management of the Poznań University of Economics and Business' Employees

The purpose of this article is to analyze the nature of the duties of academic staff in the Poznań University of Economics and Business, as well as the attitudes and expectations of employees towards them. This is interesting particularly in the context of the achievements of employees in specific areas, but also for stimulating their development in the process of managing people. The results of the analysis refer to the solutions applied to managing people at the university and to deal with them in terms of adaptation to the needs and problems reported. The results below are based on research conducted by the Department of Education and Human Resources Development of Poznań University of Economics and Business. The research was conducted among university academic staff (a total of 235 respondents). The research was carried out in the academic year 2013/2014.Downloads
